Hi, I’m Jackie Maher

As a fully qualified integrative psychotherapist, I am able to draw from different theoretical perspectives which means that I can work in a way that works best for you.

I can help you face what is going on in your life right now and heal from past difficulties, while building strategies to cope with life’s challenges.

I provide a supportive and confidential environment that allows for open and non-judgmental communication around a wide range of mental health difficulties.

My belief is that one of the most important aspects of therapy is the relationship and that is at the centre of how I work. Starting therapy can be daunting but I am here to support and work with you.

I have a wide range of clinical experience and work with adults (18 and over) presenting with many different concerns, including anxiety, depression, bereavement, suicidal feelings, addiction, Identity issues, loss, relationships, self-esteem, sexual identity, sexuality, trauma and palliative therapy.

As a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy I abide by their code of ethics. I have a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychotherapy and a Masters Degree in Psychotherapy and Counselling.

I work privately in North London, and offer both face to face and online sessions.
